I am an Egyptian born and raised animator and sequential artist. Growing up in the early 2000s, I was exposed to a massive influx of animation, comic books and video games and my current style is the culmination of all the art I consumed back then. 

I broke my family's tradition of pursuing STEM degrees and graduated with a BA in Fine Arts & Animation. I spent my entry level years working for a couple of design and advertising agencies both based in Cairo and the US where I learned how to use my creative skills as problem solving and communication tools. In 2020, I started working as a fulltime freelance artist and have been extremely lucky to work with incredible people on stories and projects that mean a lot to me. 

When I am not animating stories, I manage Daad Geem an art collective that I co-run with 4 of my closest friends. I love the dynamic nature of the work I do for Daad Geem where I alternate between designing products & art prints, running the website and creating campaigns for social media. And when I am not doing any of that, I am most likely brushing up my Korean language skills. You can find my detailed resume here.
